Here Again

The longest track on the debut is a slow blues number that shows a completely different side of the band. It's a melancholy ballad with Geddy Lee delivering a more restrained vocal performance over Lifeson's tasteful blues guitar work.

This was Rush proving they weren't just a one-trick pony — they could handle dynamics and mood. The extended guitar solo section gave Lifeson room to stretch out and showcase his improvisational skills. Lifeson's playing here draws heavily from his love of British blues-rock guitarists.

It's perhaps the most overlooked track on the album but demonstrates the emotional range that would serve the band well in later years. At over seven minutes, it also foreshadowed the band's comfort with longer, more expansive compositions.
